THC goes to New Orleans |Womb Wellness|

First stop: Louisiana

I chose New Orleans as my first place to visit, as part of my journey, because of the culture, history, and the people. I’ve been there before, but this time it was for a purpose; A spiritual purpose.

Marie Laveau’s Work

Marie Laveau… what does she mean to me…

She is called the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. The most important voodooienne ever to have reigned on this continent.

Read that again.

The fact that this journey had a spiritual purpose, how could I not honor her legacy in her own hometown. I wanted to walk her walk, feel her story. A true healer, spiritual guide, and my ancestor. So powerful, I could still feel her presence.

Interviewing Healers

I want people to see that all healers have a testimony. There are so many different healing modalities, these interviews are being made available to someone out there and assisting them on their journey. I want to find what works for them. A lot of people are not aware of what is available to them. When you can relate, the healing creates a safe space.

Interviewing Kourtnie Boussard

Kourtnie and I met while getting our certified for Womb Wellness and Yoni Steam Practitioners. We bonded, realizing that we share a similar life story. When I heard Kourtney’s testimony, I remember telling her at the end of our studies, “I’ve been through what you’re going through, I’m here for you,” and at that moment I was reminded of my mission. It involved interacting with healers, having them share their stories, healing modality, and what led them to it.
